See what other people have to say about Dance or Die:

I’ve been a fan of Dance or Die since they began on May 31, 1990. This 3 person band is energetic, fun and lively. It’s hard to listen to them and not take off your shoes and move. The drummer is a sexy woman with a beautiful voice, the bass guitarist seemingly reserved until his gravelly soulful voice belts out (listen to him sing Midnight Rambler) and the lead guitarist sings from the bottom of his rock ‘n’ roll heart. There are reasons that in this small pond of Rochester there are groupies, like me, who wait to still hear them, even after 20 years.
-Liz Doyne

An intrepid group that some might call Freudian in their uncommon ability to subconsciously connect to their audience, these three psychologists don’t just make you want to dance…they force you to!
-Sam Osborn

Dance or Die appeals to all ages. I’ve been to 40-year-old, 50-year-old, 60-year-old and soon 70-year old birthday parties, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and weddings where this dynamic group plays. Each time, people are up dancing and having the time of their lives. Check them out!
-Susan McDaniel

Dance or Die provided the soundtrack to my childhood and introduced me to some of my favorite music. When these three get on stage the energy is contagious and no one stays seated for long!
-Hanna Siegel

There's probably been no band that I've loved as much, or as consistently, as Dance or Die. From proudly writing "DANCE OR DIE RULES!!!!" in big, thick letters using a white out pen on my 5th grade science binder to having them play at my college graduation party over a decade later, my thoughts about them have pretty much stayed the same: Dance or Die rules!!!!
-Allison Osborn

Make sure seeing Dance or Die is on your bucket list—they put the Rock in Rochester!

Dance or Die has been the pride of our family for all the years, they are entertaining. Such energy, played by members who have time consuming professions and always time for practice and hire. They are one of the most unique groups around. Not only terrific musicians but healing professionals. One a physicians and 2 psychologists; You listen to them and feel better all over. Wow, what a group.
-Gladys Siegel

-Deb and Allen Roach

Their music always gets me up and dancing. They are skilled musicians doing what they love. I drove in from out of town at the last minute when I heard they were playing. I'm glad I did. Great song choices! Their enthusiasm is infectious. It's obvious how much they enjoy playing together. It's a great band! If they're playing, I'm there!
-Bob Pierce and Rita Izzo

Listening to Dance or Die makes me feel young again. It makes me want to be a pediatrician so I can hear them at all of those events. The name is right on- not some biomedical prescription as you’d expect from a bunch of health care providers – but the bold truth. Their cover of “Be True To Your School” takes me right back to high school pep rallies.……and the base player is hot in his hip vest!
-Betsy Naumburg and Carl Hoffman

I love what Dance or Die has done for Kent, David and Debbie. It's given them a way to play music together for 20 years and to share their love of music with others. This is not a simple thing to do over a long time span!! Dance or Die is a really fun band and always ensures a good time!
-Cindy McCormack

Rockchester's most highly credentialed classic rock trio. Featuring rock's best female singing drummer since Karen Carpenter.
-Gary Johnson

"I danced so much I thought I'd die, but instead I had a blast."
-Ann McDaniel

"You haven't lived 'til you've experienced Dance or Die."
-Marisa Siegel

They were the best backup band a 10 year-old could ever ask for. Thanks to their ability to interpret my lyrical vision, I was able to take my fans on a musical journey that neither of us will ever forget.
